Velvet Abashian is the Broker and Owner of Avian Village Realty, Inc which she Founded in 1990 after a decade of working for major Manhattan Real Estate Firms.  She first acquired her Real Estate License in 1979 after a career in Medical Photography.

Over the past 45 years Velvet has personally completed over 100 Sales Transactions ( including Townhouses, Condos and Coops) and more than 2,500+ Rentals.

Her Real Estate experience includes being a Landlord for over 40 years, and a New York City Broker for more than 3 decades.

She is knowledgeable about Construction, Property Management, and was the President of the Condominium Association at 13 Morton Street where her office is located for 15 years.

Velvet is a Graduate of  Wagner College with a Bachelors degree in Philosophy and Eastern Religions.  She is also a graduate of  The Germaine School of Photography.

She spent a year abroad living in Bregenz, Austria.

Her continued education in the area of personal development, human awareness and advancement help enable her to bring a unique “listening” to everyone she works with.
